NOW HIRING:
STORE ASSISTANT & OPENER

Assist our store manager in running a brick-and-mortar farm market. This includes opening duties, inventory tracking, merchandising, quality customer service, and operating point-of-sale devices.

  • Operate cash register efficiently and accurately

  • Relate to customers in a friendly and helpful way

  • Stock and process product for sale

  • Help keep in-store inventory up-to-date

  • Effectively communicate with buyers and senior management

SCHEDULE:

Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-3pm 

  • There is some flexibility regarding hours. We would ask for a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, and likely cannot commit to more than 24 hours per week. Hours on Sunday may be possible for the right candidate.

late April - December 2026, with year-round potential

  • Our aspiration is to keep the market open year round with two employees on payroll. Our ability to do this will depend on how the business performs and the capabilities of our staff. We break for the first 3 weeks of April, as well as the 2 weeks after Winter Solstice.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate has cashier experience in a retail food environment, and excels in customer service. Familiarity with produce and enjoyment of cooking is a plus!

COMPENSATION:

$16 starting wage. 10% discount on all store items.
