Pasture Song Farm was named for Jeremy and Clara’s love of pasture, and commitment to raising their animals on it.

”Pasture plays a central role in our farm. We raise our livestock on pasture, which provides them with a clean, nourishing environment. We use pasture in our crop rotation, to improve soil health and tilth in preparation for grain crops. We've combined livestock, pasture, and grain crops into one rotation, which is creating positive synergistic effects that are only just beginning to reveal themselves. These practices are the root of how we farm. We are committed to creating sustainable systems that engender healthier land, healthier products, and a healthier community.”

Pasture Song hogs are fed a grain mix that is grown & freshly ground on their farm. The grains are GMO-free and grown in accordance with organic standards. The farm is currently not certified organic, but is actively seeking certification.

Pigs receive organic yogurt (from Seven Stars Dairy—Jeremy’s family owns this business!) and various forages depending on the season. They DO NOT receive prophylactic or routine pharmaceutical medications. They DO receive as much green plants, sunshine, & clean water as they desire!

We are thrilled to stock product raised by these committed farmers, whose pigs roam free just minutes down the road!
